The Christopher Kiefer Memorial Scholarship

Out of the tragedy of the death of someone so young and with so much potential, it is comforting to know that something positive can result. The Christopher Kiefer Memorial scholarship was created in 2006 to honor his memory. Chris was a very good student, a respected athlete, and a dedicated friend. He enjoyed life fully and understood the value and importance of helping others through mentoring programs and through his involvement with school, community, and church activities.

The people who contribute to this scholarship fund do so with the understanding that it will be used to help others who share similar goals and values as Chris. Therefore, the scholarship requirements were developed to reflect the traits which defined Chris and to pay tribute to the spirit of his life.
